The author was a faithful and indolent servant of God’s word. A dozen or so writings, mainly on the subjects of dogmatics and ethics, have been prepared by Josef Imberg and have gained wide circulation within the Lutheran churches in Africa. In Swedish, e.g. The gospel of God’s grace, The good way and Creation and Salvation.

This book is about Christian faith and life and Christian ethics. It cover a lot ov different items!

Josef Imberg  (1916-1998) was ordained a priest in Växjö in 1942. After serving in the Church of Sweden’s Mission in Tanzania, South Africa and Rhodesia during the years 1944–56, in 1965 the couple Imberg accepted a call from ELM- BV to serve in Kenya, where Josef became director of what was then the Bible School at Matongo. During the years 1971–74, he was director of Strandhem in Örkelljunga.
